Overtime Is Unkind

Concordia never trailed in its series opener with No.6-ranked Hamline until the final shot of the game. The Cobbers played one of the best games of their season and were either leading or tied with the league-leading Pipers for 60:56 but unfortunately a goal in the first minute of overtime sent CC to a 4-3 loss.

The Concordia-Moorhead women’s hockey team earned a hard-fought 4–2 home victory over St. Catherine on Saturday, using late-game execution to secure the win.

It was a give-and-take affair between the Cobbers and St. Olaf in the series finale on Saturday. Unfortunately for Concordia, it finished in the give category as the Oles took the 5-4 win in overtime.

Concordia used a strong third-period push to earn a 5-2 victory over St. Scholastica on Saturday night. The win moves the Cobbers to 7-8 overall and 4-4 in MIAC play.
